Posted on December 4, 2008 in Adobe GoLive (Default)Class is always interesting and I realize that I spend the whole day working on things for my class. My friends find it hard to believe that I am taking only one class this term because it seems I am always busy until it is time for work! So today we talked about Adobe photoshop, I am so interested in it because there are lots of photos that I would love to edit, especially my wedding photos!!
I have never worn a Haloween costume because in Nigeria we do not have Haloween celebration, and last year I was just not in the mood for it. But if I should wear a haloween costume I would love to dress up as an Egyptian, The Queen of the Nile,(cleopatra) to be precise. It would be interesting to wear all that makeup, I really like the eye liner and beaded headpiece stuff, of course the whole dress up for cleopatra would be so so cool. Imagine me in a white satin gown with attached waist sash, gold apron drop, sequin collar and a long cape!! I can see all eyes on me in that outfit.

My joke may not be funny
Posted on December 4, 2008 in Adobe GoLive (Default)Yesterdays class was really fun, I realize that we have lots to learn in so short time and sometimes I get lost while trying to figure something else out. But it is really nice because Kirsten(the proffessor) is always willing to help us when we get lost, sometimes she has to say the same thing over and over before we finally get it; Adobe illustrator sure has lots of ups and downs but I am enjoying learning the tricks around it.
I do not think I have weird dreams, I hardly ever remember details of my dream, I try really hard to but I only have vague recollections in the morning. But I had this one dream about 4 days ago and all I can remember is that I was dressed in a Clergy robe in the catholic church. Weird hah? I find it really funny because I have only attended the Catholic church when my Cousins had activities they invited me to. Well so that is probably weird to have such a dream! Last night I had a dream about my favourite Bishiops' wife but I can not remember anything from the dream, only her face!

Weird dream
Posted on December 4, 2008 in Adobe GoLive (Default)I love eating anything that has oats, so I love raisin oatmeal cookies, they are really yummy and healthy which is good. I don't like sugar and I dont eat cookies made with lots of sugar. Oatmeal cookies is really good. You can have nuts, raisin, or even chocolate chips in your oatmeal cookies! I also like peanut butter cookies but oatmeal is my favorite.

my favourite cereal
Posted on December 4, 2008 in Adobe GoLive (Default)Class today was really interesting, I learned alot about using Adobe illustrator; being in control of the pen tool and all the other pallet! I think the gradient, blend and arrange tools are really great! Hopefully with practise I can do lots of stuff with them.
Well I am not a joke freak, I like to listen to jokes but I can't tell a good joke myself, I can tease but not tell a good joke so I think I would borrow one.
A man was driving down the interstate at 22 miles per hour. He never went above or below. An officer noticed and followed him a while and then pulled him over. Before the officer could even get to the window the man was saying "I was not speeding, the speed limit is 22 miles per hour and that is exactly what I was doing, I was not speeding".
The police officer said, "I didn't pull you over for speeding, I pulled you over for going to slow".
The man said "But the sign says 22".
The officer told him that he was on Interstate 22. As the man shook his head, the officer noticed that there were three women sitting inside the car. All of them were sitting with their mouths hanging open. Their faces were very white and their hair was completely messy.
The police officer leaned toward the man and said "What's wrong with them?"
The man said "Well, we just came off of Interstate 134".

Digital Clean-up
Posted on November 30, 2008 in Adobe GoLive (Default)Recently, I was asked to do a little synopsis of how I import my drawings into Flash. So here goes. Basically, I start with a pile of inked drawings. These are scanned on a regular flatbed scanner with a pegbar attached so that all the drawings register. These are all saved as .tif files.
Next, I batch import all of the tif's into a program called Adobe Streamline. This program is somewhat old and I don't even think Adobe makes it anymore. Mine is only usable in OS 9 (Mac); but it's a great program for tracing bitmaps and turning them into vector files. I highly recommend avoiding the "trace bitmap" function in Flash, it really screws up the line quality. Streamline is very faithful in it's tracing and I highly recommend it.

On the left is the scanned drawing. On the right is the vector image.

Christina Aguilera

I flawless wanted to let you have information this the keep at lexicon of Christina Aguilera is phenomenal! It's a stupendous CD with considerable songs, a little jazzy. Her interchange is additionally amazing likewise she doesn't yell anymore, or at least lots minor which is repeatedly together with comfortable as the eyes.
Save the songs, they're very good!
