Online Storage

Online Storage has become a bit of a buzz word at the last few conferences I have gone too. Grins -- as if the 150gb harddrives that seem standard now aren't enough, plus flashdrives and external harddrives .................

So, I would like to share 3 online storage options I think you might consider......

The first is Mozy.com (http://www.mozy.com/)
This site allows you to have 2 gbs of free storage (at this time) and for $19.95 you can have 5gb.

I have not tried this site out -- nor am I part of the referral program -- I am just passing on some possibilities to you.
This is a WIN XP program for now -- but they say they are going to be providing a MAC version soon.

The second is gmail .
I have had gmail now for almost 1 year and never thought of the fact that it allows storage.
You will have to mail yourself an attachment with the file you wish to save, but it allows you to backup your documents up to 2gb of information (and if you have more than 1 gmail account, you can double or even triple your storage space.)

Finally -- and I know that most of you have thought of this -- use your own website as a storage area.
I have two websites with 1,000mb of space each -- however, I use only about 1/4 of each -- so I have started to FTP all my presentations, handouts, and backups up onto my website. I have put links to all my presentations on a handout page and then can open them from wherever I might be.

Hope some of these ideas help --
Jennifer
